Barb Sloothaak joined GTL in August 2007 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to Controller in November 2009. Barb is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, income taxes, premium and other taxes, purchasing, payroll and subsidiary accounting. 

She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and AICPA Society, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy, with high honors, from Western Michigan University.
