Barb Taube joined GTL as Controller in October 1993 and was elected as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer in November 2009. As Chief Financial Officer, Barb oversees the company's accounting practices, including the accounting and actuarial departments, along with the premium collections and commission areas. She also serves on the Board of Directors for GTL's subsidiaries. 

She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and AICPA Society. In her spare time, Barb volunteers on the Board of Directors for Family Rescue Inc.

Barb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy, with honors, from the University of Illinois.
