The fourth Holson to hold an office at Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company, Richard S. Holson IV (Rush) started with GTL in 2023 as the Vice President of Agency and was promoted in 2025 into his current role. As Senior Vice President of Sales, he is responsible for all operational revenue-generating activity across GTL’s verticles. Mr. Holson also serves on the GTL Board of Directors as well as its Executive Committee.
Prior to joining GTL, Rush served in a similar role at United National Life, GTL’s sister company, and his efforts resulted in record premium growth, operating gains, and surplus increase. He has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University (SMU).
