Founded in 1936, GTL provides a portfolio of competitive, value-driven health, accident, life and special risk insurance programs to individuals, families and groups across the country.
Since our inception, GTL has benefited from the direction of one family whose leadership and management continue to provide us with a clear vision of who we are and where we’re going.
For over 80 years, three generations of the Holson family have directed the company’s operations. Today, Richard S. Holson III follows his grandfather and father as the third family member to serve as President, CEO and Chairman of Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company.
The family values on which we were founded continue to motivate us. Our employee population is fueled by a passion to provide quality products and personable, excellent customer service to our policyholders.
GTL believes in doing business the right way. We have a consistent track record of successfully delivering on our promises and preserving the trust that our partners, employees and policyholders place in us.
Personalized Customer Service
Caring, personal service has been a cornerstone of our business since our inception. We pride ourselves in offering good, old-fashioned one-on-one customer service. Our friendly and long-tenured service staff at our Home Office are waiting to help.
“I can only speak good words about the company (GTL). Less than a year after we got the policy, out of the blue I was diagnosed with CML, a form of Leukemia. It’s not life threatening but it involves really expensive meds. Just the fact that God moved us to buy this policy when we did, I don’t know what we would have done otherwise. GTL has just been absolutely wonderful every step of the way. They’ve helped me when I wasn’t sure what to do, they’ve followed through on everything they needed to do in a timely manner, and every employee has been professional, knowledgeable and very caring.”
“Everybody I spoke to there, no matter when I called or what I had to ask, they were as professional and helpful as they could possibly be. Alyssa went above and beyond, and as my Grandfather used to say “went the extra mile” to help me.
GTL’s responsibility was to process my claim. If they had not gone the extra mile with the records company I think I would still be trying to get those hospital records.”
