HOW OUR GTL POLICYHOLDER’S MAY RECEIVE AN EMERGENCY BILLING GRACE PERIOD FOR NON-PAYMENT OF PREMIUM
To assist policyholders experiencing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 health emergency, GTL is committed to keeping your policy in force and extending the time you have to pay overdue premium as required by your state. We temporarily extended our lapse policy grace period for policyholders in the states listed below.
This website will be updated as needed to provide additional time extensions that have been granted by the agency regulating insurance in your state. Please contact GTL’s Customer Service Department at 1-800-338-7452 should you need additional information.
The following states have granted grace period extensions for those facing financial hardship or who have been diagnosed with COVID-19:
For our Policyholders in Delaware:
If you have experienced job loss due to COVID-19 and have premium past due between March 25th and July 1st, please contact us if you would like to set up a payment plan.
For our Policyholders in the District of Columbia:
From April 27th, 2020 until the public health emergency is declared over by the District of Columbia.
For our Policyholders in New Jersey:
From March 21st, 2020 until the Executive Order is in no longer in effect. MORE INFORMATION

The last Grace Period extensions have expired as of September. We will provide an extension for those who qualified in that period for up to 60 days.
